Hosted by The Refugee Council of Australia as part of Refugee Film Fest, this screening will include a Q&A with cast members Asfar (one of the film's main participants) and Ruth (Co-Founder of Treehouse Theatre). The film's producer James Cogswell will also be there to speak about our new host-a-screening packs.

Watch 'Cast from the Storm' when the UNAFF Traveling Film Festival comes to Denver.
Before 'Cast from the Storm' plays (72 mins), you'll also be able to watch the short film 'Children Deported: Farida (17 mins). The screenings will be followed by a Q&A. Panelists TBD.
Melbourne Screening
Join us in the Copland Room at Ashburton Library for a special community screening of Cast from the Storm.
After the screening, a guest speaker will share his experiences about settling into the Australian community. This will be followed by supper.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Treehouse Theatre.
This is an open invitation and we particularly encourage sharing the movie with young people in our community
